SPECIAL EVENTS PAVILION

A functional and inspiring pavilion in the park for the purpose
of presenting a variety of Entertainment for the community.
The pavilion consists of an 1100 sq. ft. stage platform with dressing and storage rooms on each side.
The stage platform will accomodate a variety of musical and theatrical presentations. Basic light and
sound reinforcement is built-in with accommodation for additional systems for specific events. Equipment
and props can be wheeled up the ramp from grade to the stage platform. This ramp provides handicap
accessibility from grade to the stage platform. The pavilion materials and form have been chosen to blend
with the park's natural setting and existing smaller pavilions. These materials consist of tree bark tone
stained cedar shakes with cedar siding, cedar trim, and sythtic low maintenance wood-like floor system.
The natural slope of the site provides a suitable seating area among shade trees with a view to the pond
and trees beyond.
